So, some of us over here at Virtuosi Central have organized a challenge problem for the physics community here at Cornell. Well, we thought we would open up the challenge to the great wide world. The more submissions the merrier.
The deadline is March 1, and submissions can be sent to our email.
Details can be found at bit.ly/physicschallenge.
Good luck and happy hunting.

Are you going to post the ideas people have submitted? I didn't submit anything, but I've been giving the problem some thought and I am interested to see if others came up with similar solutions.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteYep, we'll be posting the winning ideas shortly. In this case "shortly" probably translates into the end of the week. So still plenty of time if you'd like to submit a solution.
The suspense is killing me. How long until the winner is announced?!
ReplyDeleteThis month’s Gilligan physics problem is really thought-provoking! I enjoy how these challenges push students to think critically and apply concepts in real-world scenarios. For anyone who struggles with the computational side of such problems, especially when it comes to simulations or coding, exploring matlab assignment help can be a great way to strengthen understanding. With the right guidance, it becomes easier to visualize solutions and improve problem-solving skills in physics.
